Before the emergence of modern life women used to have a sisterhood built right into their communities and villages. Like in the book the Red Tent, women would gather together to share their stories, hold council, teach each other about the ways of womanhood, share women’s mysteries, discuss menstruation, childbirth, birth control, remedies for illness or wellness and sexual secrets. They would braid each others hair, and hold a sacred space for women going through any type of change or grief or illness. A sacred sisterhood is what comes of a Sacred Woman's Circle, it is a place where a woman can be herself and feel free, nourished and supported by her female friends. Unraveling naturally in the common connections they have as women within the cycles of life. This is a very profound experience for all women, this place of knowing and belonging, honoring and support.

Do you know your purpose?
Do you feel despondent about not knowing what to do in your life?
Are you waiting for some miraculous dream, vision or psychic reading to show up and let you know what it is you are meant to be doing?

Write down your responses to these questions and let your mind carry you into the vision and emotion these answers evoke.

Ask your SELF - What is it that YOU love to do? Do you love to be in nature? Do you love to be creative? Do you love to teach what you know? Do you love to tell stories? Do you love to walk the beach? What is it that you truly love to do???
Who are the people/beings you love to be with? Are they children, teenagers, animals, the wise elders?
What is it that makes you the happiest, feel the most satisfied, gratified and fulfilled? What jazzes you?
Where are the places or what are the activities that make your heart sing?
When you think about what you love to do, what feelings arise in you?
Do you feel empowered, free, giddy? Are your senses in tune with your surroundings? Do you feel at one and at peace with all that is? Do you feel connected with the true source of your spirit, your essence, your life force?

Finding and following your purpose is easy. Your purpose is always within you and around you. As you naturally do what you love to do, as you share your unique gifts in this world by simply being and doing your life your way, as you reach for that which gives you true joy - You are living your purpose.
Let today be the day you begin to see your purpose already alive and activated within you. Let today be the day you begin to step into your purposeful living.
